Notes: Chuci is an ancient collection of poems, collected during Han by Liu Xiang 刘向 (76-5 BCE) but thought to be from the state of Chu 4th century BCE. A later commentary by Wang Yi 王逸 (?-158 CE) was added. Chuci contains the poem Lisao 離騷, Sorrow at Parting, by Qu Yuan 屈原 and poems by Song Yu 宋玉 (Idema and Haft 1997, pp. 95-97).
